Wollongong FC hoping to turn off the lights on Bankstown's season tonight
First Team News
Michael West - Out injured tonightWollongong FC will head up to Jensen Park tonight to take on Bankstown in what is a desperate match for Bankstown if they still want to have slender hopes of catching the top 5 in the race to the finals.

Wollongong FC have some injury concerns with both starters from last week in Michael West and Dez Giraldi looking likely to miss tonight's encounter through injury.

West suffered knee damage in a challenge against West Sydney whilst Dez has been struggling with a quad strain suffered a couple of weeks ago and pulled up sore after a light training session last night.

Coach Turner has a headache to deal with when the club brought in Michael Turnbull to cover for Justin Pasfield in goals. The club and Justin felt could be missing for most of the end of the season and finals campaign but to the clubs and Justin's disappointment he has missed out on the Olympic squad at the final hurdle.

As expected Turnbull will keep his place in the starting line up following his 9/10 performance in goals on debut last weekend. Michael was also disappointed for Justin because Michael himself has experienced not one but two previous campaigns in goals for the OLYROOS at the Athens & Sydney Olympic games and knows what that experience has done for his career and is a great personal highlight.

Tonight's game kick's off at 7pm.
Junior Reports v Macarthur Rams - 29/6/08
Juniors News
Wollongong FC Junior ReportsWollongong FC Junior ReportsThe Wollongong FC Under 13's, 14's & 15's had to back up on Sunday for a double header to play their previously postponed catch up games against Macarthur Rams and the day brought with it some good results with the 13's unlucky not to make it a winning weekend after their massive defeat of West Sydney the day before.

The Under 14's had a strong performance and put behind them the dissapointment of the day before and our Under 15's set themselves up in the best possible way to throw their hat in the ring for the Championship crown.

Our Under 15's put themselves a step closer to the top of the table in their quest for the Championship whilst our 16's are still in the hunt for a finals finish despite their loss.

Junior Reports v Sydney United - 21/6/08
Juniors News
